DIVULGACIÓN CIENTÍFICA

The "Agropelo" project explores using hair mats in agriculture to retain water in dry regions like Somalia. Hair is affordable, helps retain moisture, and provides nutrients, making it a viable alternative to expensive materials like PeatMoss. The study compared various soils, finding that hair extended soil moisture retention significantly. It also suggested hair as an effective, cost-efficient solution for drought-affected areas.
